Our Services
What does an art therapy session with Kaleido look like?

Initial Session Overview:
Welcome! In our first session, we’ll introduce you to the comforting space and your therapist. Together, we’ll create a plan tailored to your unique needs, ensuring you feel at ease. If you’re feeling uncertain, we’re here to guide you gently through the process. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore art therapy materials at your own pace, in a relaxed and informal setting. Remember, there’s no pressure to continue if it doesn’t feel right for you.

Art Therapy Sessions:
We typically meet weekly to allow for gradual progress and comfort with the process, but we’re flexible and will schedule sessions to suit your needs. You can choose between group or individual sessions, depending on what feels right for you. The initial sessions are designed to help you assess whether art therapy is beneficial and to determine your interest in continuing.

Art Therapy Supervision
Art therapy supervision is a nurturing journey of growth and learning, fostering a safe space for art therapists to engage in meaningful conversations, receive valuable feedback, and continuously refine their craft. For effective supervision, there must be honesty and an equal partnership, combining the supervisor's wisdom with the therapist's skills, and providing space for reflection and being. Through the compassionate lens of supervision, therapists can revisit their sessions, explore diverse strategies, and take pride in their achievements. This ongoing journey of self-awareness cultivates their skills and boosts their confidence in their unique application of art therapy.

Annie envisions supervision as a safe space to nurture our therapists' wings.
You don't need to be an art therapist to receive art therapy supervision in healthcare settings where high staff turnover and potential burnout are prevalent. Supervision offers a nurturing platform for discussing and navigating clients' interactions and challenges. Art therapy supervision provides a non-judgmental space for dialogue, emotional exploration, and self-reflection through artwork, promoting calmness and facilitating the processing of complex emotions for all.
