* Art Therapy Process:
In challenging times or moments of feeling stuck, communication can be tough. Art therapy offers art materials to encourage self-awareness and expression within a secure environment. This therapeutic process aids individuals in exploring and processing traumatic experiences and emotions, leading to improved self-awareness. The visual aspect of this self-directed process assists in organising internal chaos effectively.

* Therapeutic Approach:
I primarily follow a non-directive approach, allowing clients to guide the therapy sessions. The client drives the content of the therapy, facilitating the emergence of unconscious thoughts and emotions into consciousness.

* Expression and Authenticity:
I appreciate the individuality conveyed by each client mirrored through their artwork, fostering them to embrace their true selves through the creative process.

* Regulation and Accreditation:
Art therapists, like nurses and psychologists, are regulated by governing bodies to ensure public safety. This regulatory framework maintains a register of health and care professionals who meet the standards in training, professional skills, behavior, and health.

* Qualifications:
I am registered with ANZACATA and hold a Master's in Art Psychotherapy from Roehampton University, London, and a first-class honors degree in Fine Art from Aberystwyth University/School of Art.
